- The Jacquard weave is even more pronounced with the snow dying. The cold of the snow breaks down the dyes and the color often split and fissures. The dye has a tendency to run along the ridges in the weave pattern, resulting in very interesting color patterns and a textural effect.
• This is a Home Dec fabric that started off kinda stiff, but after the snow dying process the fabric turned as soft as silk.
• The fabric is a blend and the cotton and synthetic fibers each took the dyes differently, using this to an advantage in the natural fringe treatment; note how the fringe colors alternate, the cotton warp absorbed the varrious dyes and the synthetic weft didn't so that part of the fringe is still white.
• This duster is designed with very soft, graceful cascading down the front to show the lovely drape of the fabric.
• French seams finish the inside of this garment.
• This Duster can be dressed up or worn with jeans for a causual.
• This Duster can be worn almost all year long, when it's cold wear with a turtleneck and slacks, for warmer weather wear with a camisol and skirt underneath.
• Machine wash and dry this duster, if desired press but it won't need much.
